Tis' The Season For These 5 Festive Collagen Drinks

Tis' The Season For These 5 Festive Collagen Drinks

All the holiday fun... with none of the guilt! Let's celebrate the season of collagen.

Festive Collagen Drinks

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and we’re spreading the holiday cheer here at Primal Harvest with some of our favorite collagen drink recipes
!

The holidays are all about snuggling up with loved ones and enjoying a warm, comforting beverage by the fire.
And more importantly, the holidays are our favorite time of the year to gather some of the coziest collagen recipes and share them with you, our amazing Primal Harvest Tribe.

We’ve dealt with our fair share of stress and unexpected twists and turns this year…

But it doesn’t mean that we can’t make every effort to transform this holiday season into something special! One way to do this is by nourishing your body from the inside out with easy-to-make, wellness-boosting collagen peptides.

There are so many reasons why we’re always so excited about collagen supplements this time of year. And even with all the changes and restrictions this winter, we’re happy to say that our collagen tradition is here to stay!

Let’s have a closer look at why collagen is our favorite winter supplement.

WHAT IS COLLAGEN?

Collagen is essentially the “glue” that holds your entire skeleton together. Made up of essential amino acids, collagen is abundant in our youth, giving us the lustrous hair, flexible joints, supple skin, strong nails, and overall youthful glow we once took for granted.

However, as we age, this fundamental building block of our bodies begins to steadily decline (especially after 30), leaving our skin, hair, nails, ligaments, bones, gut lining, tendons, and entire skeleton lacking in collagen.

WHY COLLAGEN FOR THE HOLIDAYS?

If you’ve noticed that your skin is drier, looser, less elastic, or has more fine lines and wrinkles, you have insufficient collagen levels to blame. Or if your joints are aching and stiff, your hair is thinner, or your nails are brittle, collagen is also likely the culprit.

Collagen is absolutely necessary when it comes to feeling your best on the inside and the outside this holiday season.

And when the winter weather rolls around and temperatures drop, you may notice some of these symptoms worsening or becoming exacerbated. That’s why collagen supplements are extra essential during the wintertime!

Dry, cold, and windy weather, along with spending more time indoors, can result in dry, sullen, and patchy skin. This can intensify signs of aging that often lead people to discover collagen peptide supplements in the first place, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and skin sagging. It can also dry out hair and nails, as well as igniting joint discomfort in many.

Since hydrolyzed collagen supplements target skin hydration, joint mobility, and hair strength, it’s no wonder why most of us stay stocked up on this supplement through the holiday season and beyond.

Collagen is like your secret wintertime beauty weapon, and we’re totally here for it!

But remember, not all collagen supplements are created equal. Whether you decide to go for a collagen capsule or powder, it’s important to remember to choose premium collagen sources that have been hydrolyzed (already ‘broken down’) for maximum absorption.

This will help guarantee not only the greatest benefit, but the greatest value for your money as well (who wants collagen that doesn’t get absorbed by your body?!).

Here are our  top five favorite holiday collagen beverages to enjoy with your loved ones this holiday season. They focus on a healthy balance of ingredients, are quick and convenient, and can be made using either of our collagen powders (Keto Collagen and  Primal Collagen)
