1. WITCHY APPLE COLLAGEN BREW

There are plenty of different ways that you can create your own version of a "witches brew" this Halloween! A teaspoon of activated charcoal can transform any drink recipe into a spooky black color, and even help soothe an upset stomach as well.

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple-cinnamon tea bag
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp activated charcoal
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 2 scoops Primal Collagen

For this apple-inspired witch's brew…

  • Add the apple-cinnamon tea bag, maple syrup (or honey), apple cider vinegar, and cinnamon stick to a mug of hot water and let it brew for at least five minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature and place in the refrigerator to chill. 
  • Next, stir in the teaspoon of activated charcoal and add two scoops of premium hydrolyzed Primal Collagen. For a fun festive twist why not sip this delicious witch's brew from a cocktail glass.)

2. GHOULISHLY GOOD YOGURT TREE BARK TREATS

With this gut-friendly frozen yogurt recipe, you can snap off pieces of this delicious treat whenever you need to satisfy your sweet tooth, but without all of the added artificial sugar in traditional Halloween candy.

Ingredients:

  • 2¼ cups vanilla yogurt
  • 2 scoops Primal Collagen
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin purée 
  • Plus: Toppings of your choice (we went for walnuts, dried cranberries,  coconut flakes, butterscotch chips, and cinnamon)

For these frozen yogurt tree bark treats...

  • Spread 2 cups of vanilla yogurt mixed with 2 scoops of Primal Collagen onto a baking tray and spoon ¼ cup of yogurt with pumpkin purée to spoon on top, creating colorful swirls.
  • Top your masterpiece with the toppings of your choice before putting it in the freezer for an hour until solid. Let thaw for a few minutes when you're ready to enjoy this treat, and voila!

3. EERIE COLLAGEN-CHARCOAL CARAMEL APPLES

Hands up who loves caramel apples? We know we do! Give this classic Halloween treat a gut-healthy spin with the help of activated charcoal and collagen peptides and by swapping out sugar for maple syrup or honey.   

 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 scoops Primal Collagen
  • 1 tsp activated charcoal
  • 4-6 granny smith apples

For these charcoal caramel apples…

  • Combine coconut milk and maple syrup in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring often. 
  • Once boiling, bring to a simmer and stir in the 2 scoops of Primal Collagen
  • Remove from heat and stir in coconut oil, activated charcoal, and vanilla extract and mix well. 
  • Dip apples into the collagen caramel and set them on a baking tray to cool. Chill in the fridge or serve right away.

4. COLLAGEN PUMPKIN POWER BALLS

Whether you’re rushing around to put together a last-minute Halloween costume or prepping for a Halloween-themed dinner, one thing’s for sure - you’ll need something to keep your energy levels up! Packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats, these collagen pumpkin power balls have got you covered!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 6 tbsp coconut flour
  • 6 tbsp Keto Collagen
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice blend
  • 4 medjool dates (pitted)
  • 6 tbsp shredded coconut (unsweetened)

For these collagen pumpkin power balls…

  • Combine the pumpkin puree, coconut flour, Keto Collagen, pumpkin pie spice blend, and dates in a food processor and process for 4-5 minutes or until fully combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. 
  • Place the shredded coconut into a bowl. 
  • Once the pumpkin-collagen mixture has chilled, scoop out with a tablespoon and roll into even balls. Roll the bowls in the shredded coconut.

5. SPOOKY CHOCOLATE ALMOND SKULL CUPS 

These scary skull cups are both decorative and delicious. And, they certainly pack a nutritional punch! With almond butter and premium hydrolyzed collagen, these protein-packed treats are one way to snack smart this Halloween. 

Ingredients

  • 1 bar dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 2 scoops Primal Collagen
  • 1/2 cup of natural almond butter 

For these spooky chocolate almond skull cups…

  • Combine almond butter and Primal Collagen in a bowl until well-mixed. 
  • Melt dark chocolate (in the microwave or double boiler) stirring in between. Stir in coconut oil and mix until well combined. 
  • Add a layer of the chocolate-coconut mixture to your mold, filling each to about a third. Add a tsp of the almond-collagen mixture and add to the center of each mold.  
  • Fill the rest of the molds with the remaining chocolate mixture until it fills to the edge. Refrigerate for an hour or until solid. 
  • Optional: Decorate with natural food colouring for extra Halloween thrills!
